James and Alex joined us yesterday as their parents went off for a quiet few days! Weather was lovely so we did the weir again as we did with the Reading Boys. Plenty of wet clothes but a lot of fun. Today it has rained almost all day so apart from a Hobbycraft shop trip and lunch in Asda Living, we have had music practice, arty work and exam revision in between trying to keep mobile phone games to a minimum. Tomorrow weather looks like perking up again so maybe it will tandem ride day.
A new virus strain has emerged called Delta which is a strain from the India variant. It has caused cases in Uk to rise again so Portugal which was on green list has become amber. That means that those who rushed off on holiday and can’t get back before Tuesday will have to quarantine on return for 10 days! Those about to go are cancelling as they can’t afford to be off work or school on their return. September Spain visit is looking dodgy again.
