Today my friend Norman and myself erected the Shelterbox tent. That’s the first time for about 18 months so it took us a nearly two hours. It is not an easy job as these tents become almost permanent homes for those round the world who have been victims of disasters. Stuart and family arrive on Sunday so all the boys will be sleeping in the tent, hopefully!

We are not far off our fundraising trip pulling the Shelterbox 21 miles so I am still making adjustments to the trailer. The SBox staff in Cornwall have sent me a whole lot of leaflets and stickers for the kids at the schools we will visit in couple of weeks time.

Tomorrow is Pfizer jabs, we think that is almost the end of that vaccine. Weather is nice now so hopefully we can sit the patients outside for their 15 min wait after their jab. Some concern again as the UK cases are on the rise in several areas, over 4,000 new cases today but increasing rapidly mainly due to the Indian variant which is affecting mainly young people. I am still not sure if restrictions will be eased again in late June. As for our Spanish trip I certainly have reservations whether we will be going or not.

Did a 5k run through the valley today to plan a route for Danny’s run on Sunday. Looks like fine weather for the BH so I expect there will be masses heading for the coast.
