Our little boy is 48 today, wow he is middle aged! He liked the garden lounger that we bought him, we just hope the boys don’t use it as trampoline. Natalie is still feeding the robins, they don’t look like being in a hurry to leave their cosy home just yet.
I decided to stay at home today and rest up. Tummy is feeling better but I am taking pain killers which is keeping the pain in mouth at bay. I have an appointment on Saturday to see the dentist. Small lump on right side of chin, I just need it investigated.
Zoom meeting with our PFA then caught up with a few computer jobs. After some considerable discussion with Steve our Rotary President Elect, I have decided to take on Chairman of International Committee as from July. Had to adjust some of my other workload to keep it manageable. Rota for vaccines on Saturday week is drafted, I will contact the volunteers when I hear on Monday if there is to be a session on Sunday as well. Although we have a no vaccine weekend coming up this week it will get hectic from the end of next week. Nationally, some of the big centres are now taking on the Under 50s with a good response. As a country we are doing well on vaccines but not so some other countries. India now getting over 200k cases a day as the virus spreads. Once we open up more to international travel another lockdown in the year is most likely. We should hear more next week about foreign holidays. If we do get to Spain in September there is no doubt there will be big restrictions. Flight is booked so we have to wait and see.
