I have two main websites underway at present, one is to support my 86 yr old cycling friend Mike Daniels. I helped him set up a website:

During April he will cycle at least 200 miles and by doing so raise funds for MacMillan Nurses. Here we are at the beginning of March and already he has raised, with gift aid a few pounds short of £1000 ! That is amazing and we hope he will make even more. It just shows that age is not a barrier.
Similarly our Rotary club’s GreatHomeRun has raised nearly £600 for our local charities so far.

We have several individuals and groups signing up to have a go including my ‘Run up the Height of Mt Everest” attempt. I have practised a few times running up Old Loose Hill and today I extended the ascents to seven. I need five ascents every day in April to succeed so if I can get in a few 7 or 8 ascents in a day it should give me a couple of days off. Also I will lose a day as I will be taking part in the Kent Duathlon in late April.
All my rotas done now for the weekend vaccines. Our surgery should get to a total of 10,000 doses by the end of the weekend. Nationally there has been around 21 million vaccines given. It is reported that they now have evidence that the vaccines are significantly helping the drop in cases occurring. However, news from Texas is that the Trump loving Governor has deemed everything can go back to 100% free of precautions as they are not bothered about the virus any more. Have you forgotten you pillock! that this is a worldwide pandemic!! What you do affects us all. We will see now if the President has any authority to over-rule him.
Sue has just tomorrow left for home schooling with Toby, then next Monday they all return to school. Let’s hope everyone is sensible and we don’t get another spike. I had my formal letter today from Barty about the return of visits from Monday. Plenty of precautions, which is good. I am looking forward to seeing Mum on Tuesday.
