Today was sunny and a bit warmer so Sue went and I for a bike ride. It was really nice, a round trip and a few challenging hills for Sue. We managed 20.72 miles which I think is the furthest Sue has been on one ride. It seemed like the entire population was out today either walking or cycling but I was still amazed at how many cars were on the roads including country lanes where people stopped to go for walks, which may in some cases breach the guidelines. However, we were able to keep a good distance.
Last night we continued to watch the brilliant BBC drama called Dickensian. It is on I Player so we thought it would be 6 or 8 episodes but we now know there are 20 ! We shall watch the last 4 tonight. It is a very clever and well acted drama where the writer has taken characters from a range of Dicken’s books and put them all together in a small part of London and created a murder story with several other life issues going on. Most enjoyable and I can’t wait to find out who did it!
According to Mum’s care notes, Mum is still not eating very well and she is sleeping a lot, However, it is clear that the staff are doing all they can to keep Mum active, this afternoon she played a game of darts in her room!
Back to sorting out next weeks rota tomorrow and I will try a shortest run in the morning to test out my injury. It will be a week since that last run so I am hoping it will be OK.
