After my rant yesterday, I have been told by she who knows best to calm down and not get worried by the selfish and uncaring law breakers in this country. Of course she is right, the vast majority of people are complying and let’s hope that the new Tier increases will help stem the every increasing numbers of Covid cases and deaths. I’ll try my best but apologise for my cynicism which won’t let go, however I am trying.
Last night Storm Bella hit our area, minimal damage here but plenty of rain and a few items blown into places where they shouldn’t be so I spent a bit of time clearing up. Our outside Xmas lights on the garage tangled a bit but as they are old and pretty feeble I took them down and they were disposed of. Sue wants a plastic deer next year which has lights attached to it. Yes dear (deer) of course, such fun! Whoops! I am now feeling a bit cynical again, must stop that.
Today the sun came out and the temperature started to fall. Forecast says there could be a few wintry showers tomorrow. Sue and I went for a walk and then back home to read the paper. I wish the grandkids were here. Having said that we had a great Zoom quiz with the whole family last night. Mike arranged it and was looking forward to being quizmaster which he was for a minute or so until James took over followed by Alex. Meanwhile in Woodley young Toby did his best to take over the screen playing his new funny weird noises microphone. All in all good fun was had by all and we lost the quiz so that’s OK then.
