I took Sue to meet her birthday tree in Dering Wood today. After our delicious veggie sausage rolls and coffee at the Headcorn airfield cafe we went into the soggy Woodland Trust woods near Pluckley and found Grove 3. There we selected a tree. Sue liked the idea of a young tree, don’t know what make it is, but a tree book is on it’s way so we will look it up when it arrives. Great fun!
This morning I found a shop which sells proper toys and games so I now have a decent Connect 4 to play with Mum next time I visit.
Zoom meeting this evening with new management for the Leisure Centre, Serco have re-structured to help offset losses this year.
Our Bournemouth Hotel trip has been cancelled again as the hotel has now decided to stay closed till March. Hopefully we will try again then. That’s three cancellations now so the voucher may not be honoured. I have written to them, we shall see.
