Today we have entertained Stuart, Natalie and the boys. They arrived early and just gone home. A busy but enjoyable day. An early highish lunch then off for a walk through the valley. Ollie our family angler spotted a couple of trout so we followed the stream down to Bockinford and we all saw several more. It’s great to see the fish back in the stream. A very mild day for time of year and Danny managed to fall in the stream up to his waist but it didn’t seem to bother him. From Tea Saucer Hill we went up through Hayle Park then back along Greenway to home. Sue made a great evening meal then we played games. It was our Xmas get together so we made the most of it. This week we have seen both our children and all our grandchildren so we are now ready for the imminent full lockdown which looks inevitable with a major rise everywhere in Covid cases. As I reported yesterday Mum is happy and content at Barty so we are not worrying about her. Viv rang her today and she was in a good mood. Eric’s funeral is on Friday 6th Nov so we will be watching from afar.
