The Govt are now planning much tighter restrictions in parts of England from next Monday following Scotland’s decision to enforce a two week lockdown. However, plans at present are to localise restrictions where the cases are increasing the most. This at present is the North East and North West and some areas of the Midlands. In the South, cases are rising but at a much slower rate. No sign that this virus will be under control at least before Xmas.
In the meantime I had a lovely Wobblers ride yesterday to Tenterden to watch Les and Mike do the 10 mile TT. Both had slightly slower times than previously, so were a bit miffed. They need some re-assurance as they are only 87 and 86 years old! I didn’t race as I am still resting my piriformus strain and I don’t want to aggravate it. I had a very gentle short run with Sue yesterday morning before cycling. I think it is on the mend.
Today Sue and I went the the pictures at midday! It was lovely to be back at the Kino supporting this lovely local cinema. Just 7 people watching a brilliant film called 23 Walks starring Dave Johns and Alison Steadman. Very moving love story incorporating a wide diversity of situations from real life. I loved it despite two of the stars being dogs, they were excellent actors!
