Weather overcast but storm seems to have passed us by. Sue doing OK once again no dizziness, hope it stays that way. I sorted out some more of Mum’s clothes to take in on Monday. Whilst in the loft, looking around I decided that it needs a big tidy up. However, a little at a time seems best way forward. I transferred all my old vinyl records from a cardboard hat box to a proper plastic box with a lid. It should keep them in better condition until I decide whether to get rid of them or leave them till the boys have to sort out the loft when the day come that I can’t get in the loft! We have some baby equipment up there as well which I am sure we will not need again! I will give it all away to a good home.
In an effort to extend the time that I am able to climb into the loft, I have done some gentle gym work in the garage and this afternoon I went for a swim. 2150m in 48 minutes, well pleased. As a result I think my hip pain is going so maybe a very gentle run next week. Must keep the pace down though.
After last weeks disaster with Sue, tomorrow we will try again to visit Mike and family. This time just a couple of hours in the afternoon, tea and cakes will do fine. Can’t wait to see them all. Sue has bought me a lovely fillet steak for tonight so that will be nice with a glass of red wine.
Finally, Gillingham FC managed an away draw today and they are now in the playoffs in the table. Unfortunately they have only played 4 games with about 40 to go! Mustn’t be over optimistic. Maidstone start their campaign next week. No spectators, it’s a strange world.
