Some eminent scientists are saying that Covid19 could be with us forever and regular vaccinations would be necessary globally. The number of cases in Spain is rising dramatically and the UK are imposing quarantine on everyone returning from several more countries than before. I am sure we made the right decision to cancel our trip to Spain.
I had a great bike ride with my B Group friends today, first time since lockdown. A 62 mile round trip to Winchelsea. Very windy especially as we rode along the coast path into Rye. I was almost back to our starting point when I had a call from Barty House to say Mum is back from hospital. She managed to walk to her room with her walking frame supported by two staff. I was asked for my permission to use bed guards now to try to avoid a further fall. Mum is not understanding the severity of her last fall, she remembers almost nothing after a few minutes now, so sad. Dentures and hearing aid still missing, I will be pursuing it further on Monday. Steve is out of hospital, he had a very serious complication with his appendicitis and had a major operation. I spoke to him tonight, he is resting up for a couple of weeks now.
