As if I am not tired already I promised James a tandem ride to Headcorn Airfield. He is a good little stoker but doesn’t stop talking whilst I am trying to catch a breath! Apart from a bit of misty rain we avoided the downpour they had in Maidstone, Sue and Alex got soaked just walking to the shops.
Very little flying today probably due to low cloud. However, James was happy to have a bap and cake and a rest. Journey home was a bit hillier so I decided to go up East Hall Hill. Needless to say at 17% we had to push the bike. We called in at farm shop for some cherries but they are all gone so James opted for strawberries which he ate as we rode home.
Heavier rain tonight but I am so tired I am sure my last night in the tent will be Ok. Last night was OK with James, he has taken to camping very well.
Tomorrow we drive the boys back to Beckenham after I have been to visit Mum. It’s a shame that she won’t be able to see them, rules still just one visitor which has to be me.
