Weather very warm today, Sue visited Ray’s wife Diane today also with friend Anne. It is nice that they have had some time together, plenty of stories about Ray, very early days yet but nice that Diane has friends to help her through this difficult time.

I did a bit of gardening this morning then I was off to Leybourne lake for a swim. I managed 1880 metres but it was tiring. Came back home and went to sleep in the garden. In the evening we watched the final episodes of The Missing. What a muddle of stories with a peculiar ending, what sort of mind must these script writers have!

On the subject of muddled stories, according to Boris, the pandemic in the UK could be over by November but of course with winter coming, it might not. More easing of lockdown coming up but the focus now is on localised lockdown where the cases start to rise. We all have to be sensible, keep our safe distances, wash our hands, use sanitiser and don’t get together in large groups and don’t forget that in a weeks time it will be compulsory to wear a mask in shops. As I keep saying, it’s nowhere near over yet.
