Mum’s brother Les visited Mum today. She was a lot more settled and accepting of her situation. She is eating and sleeping well and the staff have noticed the improvement. I am visiting next Friday, it will be interesting to see her reaction then. I hope it’s a nice day and she is without dizziness and headaches, I may even get a conversation!
A few of us from Rotary were at Mote Park today clearing the weeds etc from around the old St John’s Church. The building is now used by the local branch of Mencap and was in desperate need of a tidy up. We managed that in a couple of hours. It is good to be out and about again with friends.
Later in the day I took a couple bags of Mum’s clothes and three boxes of books from our shelves at home, to the Demelza charity depot. Gives me a bit more space in the garage.
