After 3 days of 30 plus degrees, tonight the wind has turned cooler and the next few days will be somewhat cooler.No need for the fan on tonight!
Yesterday, beaches were full, no sign of any social distancing. I fear we could be in for a second virus spike. Apart from that, the amount of litter is a disgrace, I am ashamed at people’s behaviour.
Today, we finally cleared Mum’s flat so that is a relief. I will hand over the keys after the meter has been read. Hope to get it done Tuesday. Sue’s turn to visit Mum tomorrow, interesting to see what reception Sue gets! It will be Mum’s 95th birthday, the staff are giving her cake and she will get dozens of cards, but none of us can join the celebration. Strange times we live in.
Finally Liverpool are Premier league champions so interest in what is still a deadly virus seems to be waning. Let’s hope a second spike doesn’t occur.
