Phone calls from Mum yesterday including on at 4.30pm. In the end I stayed the night at her flat. She was scared of being on her own. I had very little sleep and tonight I am going to do the same again. Sue and I have been working hard to find some respite care. Invicta was looking good then they turned Mum down as they hadn’t the type of staff to manage her safely. Great disappointment. Viv is coming tomorrow to stay with Mum for a few days and nights. I hope she doesn’t get as tired as me after just one night! Sue is calling Barty House in the morning to see if can pursue that option and we have just one fallback an overnight carer for Mum through Caremark, who are willing to help. Cancelled my meetings this week, well done Andy for taking them on. Off to Mum’s now.
