The PM today relaxed just a few of the lockdown conditions due to the slowly decreasing cases of Covid-19. However, the lockdown for most of us remains. No schools, public places, restaurants etc can open. People who cannot work from home can go back to work. Garden Centres open on Wednesday, and we are allowed to exercise outside for longer and have picnics etc as long as social distancing is applied. All very complex and not too clear but the risk of a second spike in cases is still high so we must comply and stay safe.

Still problems with Mum and her dizziness, had another call today, that’s nearly everyday for a week I have had to go and sort her out. Tomorrow we try to set up a new medicine regime. That might help but I think it is more that Mum is getting frightened and having anxiety attacks. She is looking very weak now.

Much of my day taken up with the Leisure Trust crisis. Three big conference call meetings this coming week and some big decisions to be made soon. It is just like high level work without pay! I haven’t had time to be bored with lockdown, in fact today I haven’t had time for any exercise. One nice interlude, helping James and Alex listening to their piano practices on FaceTime. We do miss all our family at the moment.
