We had a very short walk to our friend Mary’s house with her birthday present this morning. Placed the pressie in the bag in front of the door and sang Happy Birthday to her from her front lawn. Other than that we have been home all day. More jobs done, a good sort out of our bookshelves. We even boxed some up for the charity shop when eventually they open up again. I finished my weeding circuit of the garden in the afternoon. Sue washed , dried and ironed Mum’s laundry today, although a cloudy day it did dry OK. Rang Les, he and Dianne are Ok, just going out for short walks, no cycling though.
888 hospital deaths today and 15,464 cases in the UK. It’s still increasing, PPE is in short supply for front line staff. Not a good picture at all. When will there be a break through and the stats start to show a decline!
