Rested from running for three weeks in hope it would be OK for my first full Classic ( Olympic Distance) Triathlon in Bedford on 29th July.
It paid off as I completed it with no injuries and in a reasonable time 2.41.06. Came 4th in age group out of 12 finishers. Will wait to see if I have qualified for Euro Champs next year. Looks promising. Split times. swim 28.25 T1 2.05 bike 1.16.57 T2 1.35 run 52.01
