Last year I tried this ride and failed through heat exhaustion and lack of salt. No way would I fail again this year. A great ride with friend Trevor, we started at 2.00am and finished 8.00 pm. 18 hours but enjoyable. At 190 miles it was my longest single ride ever. Three day s later I did the VTTA 10 TT. a bit stiff but managed 28:38 in windy conditions and having had to stop twice for lorries.
