Left the villa – all OK -2nd September. 3 nights in Granada. Alhambra palace was brilliant . Next day climbed Veleta – 2nd highest mountain in Spain – 3395 metres. Strenuous but fun!!!Set off for Ronda but clashed with biggest fiesta in year – no rooms available at all and streets so packed you could hardly move. Nearly drove over the edge of the gorge!! Moved on to coast for overnight at Estapona on Costa del Sol. Next day on to Gibralter. Toured the rock, met the monkeys, visited caves and tunnels – all very impressive. Town a little tatty but found nice hotel. Moving on today to Terifa – most southerly point in Spain, 14 miles from Africa. Intention is to follow coast to Cadiz then start to head North through rural Spain. Weather has been scorchio although a little overcast today. Really enjoying ourselves. Love to everyone.XX
