No report for the last couple of days. No vaccines this week as our supply as been held back so that other surgeries can catch up. Some haven’t inoculated all their over 80s yet so fair enough, they need it first. On Monday, Sue resumed her home teaching with Toby. Natalie has taken over the maths and that seems to be working and Sue is teaching the other more interesting stuff. She is now an expert on Queen Victoria. As I am now unable to use my computer for most of the mornings I decided to clean the house from top to bottom. I did a great job, I think I have found my true vocation in life!
Today I went to find MikeB and I had my first proper ride for a month. I totalled 50 miles so pleased with that. We went Cranbrook area, shame having to drink coffee outside Costa standing up and balancing our drinks on the rubbish bin! Overcast today but milder, just a bit of drizzle but nothing much. I am glad I decided not to cycle on Monday as it was very cold and icy. Fellow Wobbler TonyM hit black ice and has had to have an operation on his hip. He is home now so I will give him a call. On my way back today from Mike’s I called in on swimming friend Len who lives in Brenchley. Len and his wife are staying home as he was in hospital with Pneumonia last year. He is Ok now and is soon to move again to East Peckham to be near their son.
Mum seems to be getting along OK some days up, some down. I note today that they have referred her to a dietician as she is eating less and and lost 3.7 grams in a month. Personally I don’t think that is much but I have been very aware that she is losing weight, but then I am not surprised after what she has been through.
