Great ride today. Took the trailer with Shelter Box and some equipment in it. New things to learn, like don’t wear ordinary trousers without clips or trouser leg tucked in socks. Result -leg pulled into chain, brilliant emergency stop though, well done Norman!
Tried a safer crossing at Warmlake corner. Norman stood on other side of road so he could see traffic other side of bend.
Almost same route as last week but a short hilly detour in Mote Park as ever Len was flooded. Quite blustery today and some strong headwinds but pleased with stats 19.11 miles 1:50:48 10.3 av speed 846 ft elevation.
