Yesterday saw the start of our GreatHomeRun. 22 activities are currently registered and will take place from now till end of April. So far we have raised £1330 for 5 local charities and hopefully more donations will follow. My Everest run started a bit before April 1st so yesterday I joined friend Richard on a […]
Still warm today but not as sunny. I set off early to join the Wobblers for the first time in several months. I was ill prepared for the cold start but warmed up after a while. Eight of of turned up at Pembury and we spilt into two regulation groups. Les rang to say he […]
Today and for the next couple of days we have some summer warmth and sunshine. It is also the first day of Boris’s Road Map for the easing of lockdown. We can now meet in groups of six people outdoors or two families. Golf and other outdoor sports can start. However, by the Easter weekend […]
There was a very cold wind today so a bit uncomfortable on day 4 of vaccines. Saturday was not so bad so in the afternoon I went on my “over the hill” run. This takes me to Coxheath down to Redwall Lane then back up Vanity Hill. This time I detoured along the Greensand Way […]

For a small surgery often with just one vaccinator, it is some achievement. Over 400 vaccinated this morning and the vaccine ran out by 2.00pm. I am anxiously waiting for tomorrows news for next […]
This morning we started three days of Blackthorn sessions. Today was the Oxford, tomorrow the Pfizer and Oxford again on Sunday. It went well today, no sign that the Oxford jab is bothering people locally. However in some European countries they are still not using it because of the blood clot issue. The EU has […]
